Yes, sometimes contrasts work best. For a Designer Launch this week I chose to wear a black sari with which I opted for an undone updo, strong lashes and a soft dewy face to bring the whole look together.
This is how it was done (15 mins or less)
Face- Fair and Lovely Forver Glow Cream as moisturizer
MAC- Studio Fix NC 40
Eyes- Crease MAC Wedge Eyeshadow, Inner corner/tear duct and brow bone MAC Vanilla Shadow.
Feline Eyepencil on upper lash line extended both towards inner tear duct and outwards for a straight (yes not upward) wing.
Spiky DIVA lashes by Andrea Mod applied with Dark Lash Glue
Lower lashes lined with MAC Shadow Knight divine one again extending towards the tear duct and at the outer edge extending to meet the upper lash line.
Cheeks- Shadester Contouring Powder by MAC PRO on the cheekbone with Florida cream blush dabbed gently on the apples blending into the contouring for a seamless look.
Lips- Lined with Nice n Spicy Pro Long wear lip pencil by MAC, Filled with MAC Spice Lipstick and a dot of clear lip glass on the center of the lips.
That sparkle on my neck and arms is silver glitter :)
