Thanksgiving wedding bliss

I had the most pleasurable opportunity to be part of the tastefully extravagant celebrations that marked the wedding of Smita and Gill at an Indian Puerto Rican wedding in Houston this thanksgiving weekend!

I first met with the couple at the trial makeup session a couple of months ago at my studio in Austin and knew that this would be a fun wedding to work with! Smita was not only a lovely person to work with but also a gracious host and i am truly grateful to her and her family for the warmth and respect they extended towards me.

Smita had three distinct looks for her Sangeet, Wedding Ceremony and Reception and the colors ranged from Elegant Pearl and gold to True Rani Pink and Mandarin to Turqoise and Platinum.

Chera, the face- my passionate artistry

Working with the unique topography of each face, the contours, the texture, the color, what exclusive creative challenges and such exciting vistas to work with!

Its never a blank canvas, always a fantastic combination of features that wish to be enhanced, amplified or subdued with lights and shadows, vivid hues and neutrals, mattes and shimmers...

Welcome to my world of the Chehray- faces that depict a passion of makeup artistry!
